Over my last 17 years of having provided a support service to Palmtop/Mobile Smartphone users, without a doubt, probably the worst call/email I ever received was from a user who has experienced data loss from their device but who have never ever carried out a back up of their data onto a PC/Mac or Memory Card!So please, if you use a Palmtop computer and/or Mobile Smartphone; do the most important thing... BACK IT UP! It doesn't take long to back up your data, but how long did it take to enter the data? Get the point! If you need help on how to back up your valuable data, just ask :-)
Oh, I can add, that I have performed a few miracles in my time, like when someone brought there beloved Psion to me with a smashed screen, that had never been backed up! Well, as I know the hotkeys, menu commands so well, that I can almost perform them with my eyes shut; I managed to hook the Psion up to my PC and press the necessary keys, even though I couldn't see the screen clearly due to broken cracks, I was able to do a back up to my PC! Data safe! Happy Customer? Absolutely. One of many jobs I'll never forget.
